Logging in and two-factor authentication (2FA)

The ways to log in to Trenchbet, how login codes work, how to set up 2FA and what to do if you lose your authenticator.

Ways to log in

  • Social sign-in

  • Email: we send a 6-digit code to your inbox

  • Phone: we send a 6-digit code by text

  • A crypto wallet

The login window shows every option available. There are no passwords. Always log in the same way you signed up. Using a different method, for example a wallet when you signed up with email, creates a separate new account with an empty balance.

The code has not arrived

  • Check your spam or junk folder.

  • Wait a minute before asking for a new code. Requesting many codes in a short time blocks further sends for a while.

  • Make sure you are using the exact email you signed up with.

"My balance is gone" after logging in

This nearly always means you logged in with a different method or a different email and landed in a new account. Log out and log in with the original method.

Two-factor authentication

2FA adds a 6-digit code from an authenticator app on your phone.

  • Switch it on in My Account, Settings: scan the QR code with your authenticator app and enter the code it shows.

  • Once it is on, you are asked for a code when you log in, withdraw, cancel a withdrawal, or change your username or email.

  • To switch it off you need a current code.

Lost your authenticator?

There are no backup codes, so keep your authenticator app safe and move it across when you change phone. If you have lost access, message us. We will need to confirm you own the account before 2FA can be reset, so have your account email and details of a recent deposit ready.
