What is rakeback and how does it work?

Explains what rakeback is, how it is calculated, what changes the amount, and how it is paid.

Rakeback gives you back a share of the house edge on every bet you place, win or lose. It builds up automatically as you play.

How it is calculated

Rakeback = your wager x the game's house edge x your rank's rakeback rate.

Example: you wager $100 on a slot with 96% RTP. The house edge is 4%, so the edge on that bet is $4. At a 10% rakeback rate you earn $0.40.

What changes how much you earn

  • Your rank. Your rate is set by your rank and rises every time you rank up. The VIP page shows the rate for each rank.

  • The game. Slots earn on their own house edge (100% minus RTP). Sports bets, live casino, table games and blackjack earn at a much lower rate. Sports rakeback unlocks part-way up the rank ladder.

  • Bonus play. Bets from a bonus balance generally do not earn rakeback.

  • Boosts. A rakeback boost, such as the Power Hour you get when you rank up, raises your rate for a limited time.

How it is paid

Your rakeback is split into four buckets: 40% hourly, 30% daily, 20% weekly and 10% monthly. Each one becomes claimable when its period ends. Claim them on the Rewards page. Rakeback is cash with no wagering requirement.

Unclaimed rakeback expires, so claim regularly. See "When can I claim rakeback, and when does it expire?" and "Why is my rakeback lower than I expected?".
