I sent a deposit on the wrong network, without a memo, or below the minimum

What happens when a crypto deposit is sent on the wrong network or token, without the required memo, or for less than the minimum, and what to send us.

Each deposit address is specific to one coin on one network. A deposit only credits automatically when the coin, the network, any memo and the amount all match what your wallet screen showed.

Wrong network or wrong token

Examples: sending USDT on Base to an Ethereum (ERC20) address, or sending USDC to a USDT address. The address may look the same, but the funds arrive on a network or as a token that address is not set up for, so they are not credited.

These deposits are not credited automatically and recovery is not guaranteed. Message us and we will check with our payment provider whether the funds can be recovered.

Missing memo or destination tag

Coins such as XRP need a memo or destination tag as well as the address. The deposit screen shows it in red. Without it, the payment cannot be matched to your account. Message us with the details below.

Less than the minimum

The deposit screen shows the minimum for each coin. Deposits below the minimum, or for a different amount than requested, may not be credited automatically.

What to send us

  • The transaction hash (transaction ID or signature) from your wallet or exchange

  • The coin and the network you actually sent on

  • The coin and network you selected on Trenchbet

  • The amount and the time you sent it

How to avoid it next time

  • Pick the network first, then the coin, and copy the address from that screen each time.

  • Make sure the network in your sending wallet or exchange is the same one.

  • Include the memo or tag when one is shown.

  • If you are unsure, send a small test amount above the minimum first.
